And you're welcome. ^o^ It's always fun to be able to find out stuff like that. ;3 That guy and a few others from that game drove me crazy a while back too.

The soft patter of rain was wat first woke Ayumi. At first, just his ear twitched from the noise, before his whole body stirred and he sat up. He was slumped against his bed, one arm on it with his head resting against it and the other limp to his side, his fingers barely still holding onto a controller. He pushed himself off the bed and look around, his eyes immediately going to the tv screen facing him and his bed.

Game Over. His ears pricked forward as he stared at the bright red letters that flickered on his screen. That's right. He'd been playing Wisdom Resurrection. "I must have fallen asleep." He murmured softly, rubbing his eyes.

The rain getting louder against his window caused his ears to prick toward the sound and he turned his head to look back at the window over his bed. Water streaked down the glass and just past it all he could see was a grey background. Most people would consider a rainy Sunday afternoon, but to Ayumi, it was rather relaxing. He enjoyed the sound and being able to be alone in his room. Clear Sundays meant his class mates pestering him to do stuff with them. Sometimes it was okay, but sometimes he just wanted to be alone.

Drenched. Completely drenched. And cold. Benji hissed softly under his breath. For now, he was out of the rain, taking shelter under a bus stop, but how long would that last? He stared down at his map. Although not that I was really any good. It seemed backwards to him. How in the world was he supposed to find his Sacrifice when he couldn't even find where he lived.

Benji had really be shocked when some guy had randomly come up to him and offered to train him, calling him "Faithless". First off, it was a rather a rather odd name to begin with. Faithless? What was that supposed to mean. Although that wasn't even the weirdest part. The man had gone on about Fighters and Sacrifices, calling Benji a Fighter. It wasn't until Benji had actually learned how to "fight" that he started to take the man seriously. But almost as soon as he had come, he left. Leaving Benji to try to find his own Sacrifice with little to no clues about him other than the city he lived in, if he even was a him.

"Evil old man." The violet catboy muttered, crumpling up his map and tossing it in a nearby garbage can. Maybe a bus would come by and he could ask for directions or something. He had money, the problem was he didn't really know where to go.

God, rain was awful. Especially when you're forced to walk in it because you were a genius and didn't bring an umbrella when you went out. A certain midnight-haired neko was currently swearing under his breath as he walked through the rain, his ears pulled back as he let out a growl. "God, I hate rain," he hissed softly, quickly shaking out his hair before ducking under an awning to wait out the rain. He shook out his hair again, letting out another series of swears before he glared up at the sky, eyes narrowing dangerously.

He shivered a moment later, proceeding to wrap his arms around himself for warmth. Freaking meteorologists never got the weather right...it was supposed to be a pretty, sunny day today, yet here it was, pouring down rain. Could it get any freaking worse? Mitsukai seriously hoped not. This rain was bad enough on its own...

Benji's ears suddenly perked up and a shiver went down his spine as he felt a sudden... presence. He frowned, it was similar to the chill he had felt when that old man had fist approached him... but this felt different, softer almost. He closed his eyes, trying to figure out exactly where the sense was coming from. Somehow, he just knew that this was his partner.

Not even caring about the rain anymore, Benji dashed off in his partners direction. It took several minutes to figure out where he was going - this city was so different from his own after all, almost like a maze to him, but eventually he saw him. He skidded to a stop, a few yards away from the boy - so it was a guy - and placed his hands on his knees, breathing heavily for a moment.

"So you're Faithless?" he muttered, looking the boy up and down. He couldn't be more than a few years younger, and he had the nicest silver fur that Benji had ever seen.

OOC:// I fail so much. Dx Sorry, it's been really busy for me lately... having to study and being sick. >_< I hate mid-terms. D8 Good thing I finished my computer class work early. ^_^;

Mitsukai's blue gaze focused onto the male before him, his ears folding back at the name. "Faithless? My name is Mitsukai," he hissed softly, the wet fur of his tail bristling in an almost comical way. He narrowed his eyes in a suspicious manner before he shivered again, sneezing slightly due to the cold rain seeping through his clothing to reach his bare skin. He wrapped his arms around himself, curling his tail around himself afterwards. "Why are you calling me Faithless? Who are you, anyways?" he questioned, flicking the tip of hsi tail to rid it of an annoying drop of water.

Soon afterwards he crouched down, huddling up to keep himself warm despite the chill he knew he was catching with his wet clothes on. Why did the weatherman have to screw up today of all days? It had seriously SUCKED so far.

Benji's ears flattened against his skull and he frowned slightly at his mess up. He should have assumed that his partner might not know about being a Scarifice. Maybe it would be best to take things slowly.

"Oh, sorry!" He exclaimed, acting as if he mistook Mitsukai for someone else. "I thought you were someone..." He trailed off when the silver cat boy sunk to the ground shivering. What was he doing out here in the rain anyway? Sighing, he shrugged off his jacket and wrapped it around the younger male.

"My name is Benji." The violet cat answered, gently. "Are you okay, Mitsukai?" He asked, his voice much softer than before. "Do you need me to take you home? You look like your freezing."

[Rika]

Mitsukai sneezed again, pulling his ears back before perking the right back up as the other male kept talking. "Ah, that would be nice," he answered, pulling the jacket tighter around him, attempting to bury himself within the warm fabric. He had to admit that the other's scent was actually rather nice and it calmed him, though he didn't know why. His pale blue eyes flicked back up to the violet-haired male, his silver tail flicking in an almost shy manner back and forth, left ear twitching.

"Thank you for caring about a ditz like me..." g=he murmured, pulling his ears back once more as he stood up. "The weatherman said it wa supposed to be sunny and warm today, and it was when I headed out to do something at the school...but it was raining when I got back out and I didn't have an umbrella..." he sighed, snuggling up within the jacket that had been draped over his shoulder.

Benji shook his head. "You don't seem like a ditz." He replied. "How were you supposed to know it would rain when you were told differently." He chuckled slightly. "I'm in the same situation, after all. I didn't know any better than you." Absentmindly, he pulled the hood of his jacket up over Mitsukai's head to protect it from the rain and cold.

"There." The violet haired male said happily. "Isn't that a little better?" He smiled in a catlike way, his wet tail flicking behind him contently despite the fact he was drenched. "Now, how about we get you home and out of this rain?"

Mitsukai nodded, then moved to lift part of the jacket over the other's head to keep him from getting any wetter. He moved very close to the violet-haired neko, ears twitching as he let out a soft purr. "Now we can both be protected," he said, automatically movibg towards the other's warmth. He absently curled his tail around Benji's, already at ease with the other neko.

Benji's ears pulled back curiously as Mitsukai used the jacket to protect him from the rain slightly. He smiled softer at relaxed Mitsukai already was towards him and he curled his tail back around the other neko's and wrapped his hand around his waist so they'd both be close under the jacket. "Much better." the violet-haired neko purred, not really speaking to anyone in particular. His ears flicked towards the silver-haired neko and he smiled. "Lead the way so we can get out of this rain." he said with a small chuckle.

Mitsukai smiled warmly at the violet-haired neko for a moment before he turned his head to look forward to make sure he wouldn't end up losing his way. "I really appreciate this, Benji," he purred, glancing at the other out of the corners of his pale blue eyes. "Walking out in the rain by yourself isn't the best place to be, but it's a lot better when you have someone else with you," he said rather happily, his ears pricked up as his tail's tip twitched once. "Plus, it makes it warmer if you're sharing something and have to get close."

Benji nodded, smiling slightly as well. He was tempted to say "Misery loves company" but neither of them were miserable, only wet and annoyed. Wet people love company? That didn't sound right. He ran over all the synonyms for wet he could think of and when nothing worked he let out a soft, defeated sigh and finally focused his attention back on Mitsukai. He smiled a little more. "It's only right for someone to escort such a lovely boy back home. What kind of guy would I be if I left you out in the rain?" he asked.

Ayumi's ears perked up when he heard shouting outside and he crawled up onto his bed to look out the window. Several kids were playing outside in the rain, splashing in puddles. For a time, he just watched them with is arms rested on the window ledge and his chin rested on them. His ears pulled back when one of the children dropped a plush rabbit into a puddle, his tail lashing when it was left there.

With a sigh, the blue-haired teen stood up and left his room to go downstairs. He pulled on his shoes and grabbed an umbrella, not bothering with a jacket over his night shirt. He'd only be outside for a minute. With that in mind, he left the house and walked out onto the street, opening the umbrella to protect him from the rain. He reached down and gently picked up the stuffed rabbit, which was already soaked through. How could those kids just leave it there?

Mitsukai smiled, though from there he was quiet until the other male spoke again. His cheeks turned a rosy color when he was told he was lovely. Pale blue eyes focused onto the sidewalk as he walked, his tail twitching in a funny little fashion. "I'm not lovely," he murmured softly, his tail curling around his waist and twitching lightly. He couldn't possibly be lovely, could he?








Amani sighed softly as he walked through the rain, his eyes closed until he felt...pulled by something. He loooked srount before he simply followed the feeling, curious as to what it was. Next thing he knew, he was standing near a younger male who still had his ears and tail. A small smile formed upon his lips as he moved over, tilting his head. "A little old for xstuffd bunnies, aren't you?" he asked, tilting his head wuth a grin. Haha.
